Hello and welcome, my name is Rachel Von Stroup - I am a photographer and fine artist born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. I’ve been working in the field of photography professionally for 16 years, but I have been actively pursing photography for the last 20 years.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications - Photography from IU Fort Wayne, I graduated in 2014. I worked professionally for 6 years as a Staff Photographer for The Journal Gazette from 2014-2020. In January of 2020 I decided to focus on doing freelance photography, I have been a full-time freelance photographer since 2021.
My specialty is events, portraits, marketing photos & sports - I also take on editorial work through Input Fort Wayne - an online publication. Most of my photos feature unique studio lighting, which is a highlight of my work. I have been working for the last 10 years to perfect my event & portrait photography lighting using my unique light set-up!

When I’m not freelancing I also teach a couple of photography classes per semester at IvyTech College as an Adjunct Professor, and I’m the world’s best mom to a sweet 1 year old and a wife to a fellow artist.
